How do I find the right tutor?
You can find a suitable tutor by browsing through our tutor profiles, which highlight each tutor's qualifications, subjects they teach, and availability. Tutors' profiles also include reviews and ratings from previous students, making it easier to choose a tutor that matches your learning needs. If you need assistance, our support team can help recommend a tutor based on your preferences.
What qualifications do the tutors have?
Our tutors are highly qualified professionals with expertise in their subject areas. They include certified teachers, university graduates, and subject specialists who have undergone a rigorous selection process to ensure they meet our quality standards. Many tutors also have experience in preparing students for exams such as GCSEs, A Levels, or the International Baccalaureate.
How do I schedule a lesson?
Lessons can be booked directly through the RHZ Tutoring platform. After selecting a tutor, you can view their availability and book a time slot that suits you. The system sends automated reminders, and rescheduling is also straightforward if you need to make any changes.
How are payments handled?
Payments are managed securely through our platform. You can pay for individual sessions or purchase lesson packages for convenience. The payment methods include credit/debit cards and other secure online payment options. After payment, you will receive an email confirmation and a receipt for your records.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, you can do so directly on the platform up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson without incurring any fees. Cancelations made within less than 24 hours may be subject to charges depending on the tutor's policy.
What technical requirements are needed for online tutoring?
To ensure a smooth online learning experience, you'll need a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. We also recommend using an up-to-date browser like Chrome or Firefox for optimal performance.
How do I access lesson recordings?
After each session, a recording is made available on your student dashboard, allowing you to review the lesson content at your convenience. This feature is particularly helpful for revising difficult topics and reinforcing what you learned during the session.
How can I provide feedback about a tutor?
After completing a lesson, you can rate the tutor and leave feedback on their performance. This feedback helps us maintain high-quality tutoring standards and provides valuable information for other students. If you have concerns, our support team is available to assist.
What policies apply to missed lessons?
If a lesson is missed without prior notification, the session may still be charged. However, exceptions can be made for emergencies. We encourage you to inform your tutor in advance if you anticipate any issues so alternative arrangements can be made.
